2021 March Board of Review

The Lafayette Township March Board of Review will meet on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, March 2, 2021, 6:00 PM = Organizational Meeting
  • Tuesday, March 9, 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM = Appeal Hearing
  • Thursday, March 11, 2021, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM = Appeal Hearing

By board resolution, taxpayers can protest by letter or email, provided protest is received prior to March 11, 2021. Mail protests to:

Gratiot County Planning Commission

The Gratiot County Planning Commission consists of five (5) members appointed by the Board of Commissioners, each serving a three year term.

The Planning Commission is, in general, responsible for:

  • Recommending text amendments of the Zoning Ordinance to the Board of Commissioners
  • Recommending amendments of Zoning Districts to the Board of Commissioners
  • Approving or denying applications for special land use permits
  • Reviewing PA 116 applications before submission to the Board of Commissioners
  • Various other functions as required under State statute
